The Midwestern Weekend
What a beautiful weekend it was.
Thank you all so much for making the last few days so special for me. The show in Indianapolis on Friday was a blast, and Sunday night at Schubas was especially beautiful.
We played as a trio. Aaron Kiser, Jeffrey Piper and me. And there's not much to say other than that this was the most fun I've ever had playing music.
The setlist varied a bit, but for the most part was the same:
Give
Let the Night Move Slow
Maybe
Ain't No Hurry
Annabelle
It Ain't That Bad to Lose (solo)
Ooh La La (yes, this is a Faces/Rod Stewart cover)
One Small Break>Past the River
If You're Listening
Go Easy
The Weight (The Band cover)
The Honest Man Always Wins
Factory Town Lullabies
There Comes A Time (solo)
On the Road Again (Willie Nelson cover)
I've posted a few pictures from the weekend, too. Thank you all again. I hope the celebration of Friday the 13th, Valentine's Day and Presidents Day was spectacular.
Cheers,
David
