There Comes A Time

Hey folks -

I'm posting a demo on myspace today called "There Comes A Time", and some of you may have heard it at the shows in February. It's the first tune I wrote on a piano.

I've been having a grand time learning how to play the keys, and it's starting to stretch my thoughts and ideas on songwriting, which is a great feeling.

In news unrelated to my at-home recordings, I've been listening to "Not Animal", Margot and the Nuclear So and Sos latest record, quite a bit lately. If you haven't heard it, check it out. It's an 8-piece band, and every song is full of plenty of instrumental surprises.

It rained all weekend here in Chicago, extending my winter hibernation into early March.
